Volusia Recap and Next Up for BCR

The kickoff to the 2025 season is complete and team BCR is happy with the start of the season. January 30-Feburary 2 found BCR at Volusia Speedway, the worlds fastest half mile, to begin the 2025 campaign. While BCR's first trip to Volusia was extremely challenging and a very steep learning curve for everyone on the entire team, at the end of the weekend all goals were met! They were able to get better and find more and more speed as the weekend progressed AND they were able to load the car up every night with no damage! Upon laying eyes on the speedway, Mom jokingly said "Does he have to drive full speed around the track?" Brogan's response to seeing the 1/2 mile track was, "It's big!" Although being on a track of this size for the first time can be overwhelming, Brogan handled it like a champ, listening to the valuable advice of other drivers around him and driving a more and more consistent line every time he hit the track. Special thanks goes out to Bonzai Bruns, Matt and Clint Garner and all the other experienced drivers and crew chiefs that helped make the car better as the weekend progressed!

Next up for team BCR is a trip to Milton, Fl for back to back weekends of racing action at Southern Raceway. Southern is a much smaller track and much more in the comfort zone of driver and crew and having 4 races to get acclimated will help the team settle into a routine. After that the team plans to head home to gear up and regroup for the grind of the upcoming ASCS National Tour. Full schedule will be posted on the team's website very soon.
